Glasgow Metropolitan College and Bridges Programme: ESOL for Social Care

What the learners have gained:

• English language skills specific to employment opportunities
• most learners who successfully complete the course and secured employment are still working for the same employer
• learners who are not eligible to work have the opportunity to go onto work shadow placements
• increased self-esteem through volunteering opportunities.

We want clients to function well in their course, work placement and in future employment and feel confident going in to these new employment situations.
