ESOL Practitioners' Network and ESOL Enews

The ESOL network is aimed at practitioners involved in the development and delivery of ESOL across Scotland. We meet up to 4 times a year to hear about national developments and to share information and effective practice. If you wish to join the ESOL practitioners network please e-mail us.

The meeting on Tuesday 23rd February 2010 included a presentation from Portland State University, Oregon: "The Adult ESOL Lab School" and a "How to Guide" for practitioner-led action research in Scotland. View the agenda and national update. Copy of presentation available here (pdf, 2.7Mb).

The theme of our meeting on 17th February 2009 was 'Workplace ESOL'. The STUC were unable to attend the meeting but have sent us information on union involvement in workplace ESOL. View the agenda and copies of presentations.
