The National Panel
The National ESOL Panel was a working group established according to the proposals in the Scottish Government's adult ESOL strategy for Scotland. It operated between February 2008 and December 2009.
The Panel's mission was to lead the coordination of all aspects of the ESOL strategy across sectors, regions and interests.
The Panel was supplemented by working parties or short-life working groups, appointed by the Panel, to take forward specific tasks. There is more information here about these working parties and what they are doing.
Membership of the National Panel included representatives from key stakeholder groups. You are welcome to view the minutes of previous meetings.
