Professional Development

The ESOL strategy aspires to a full professional ESOL workforce with recognised career structures. ESOL practitioners need to show knowledge, technical competence and expertise at a level consistent with effective programme delivery.

A working group, under the direction of the National ESOL Panel, developed a structured professional development pathway for ESOL practitioners. Read more information about the work of this group.
